round button chicken

I had planned more posts for this week, my friends. I had actual ideas and everything, but I woke up this morning and realized it is Thursday. The week is more than half over, and I can't even remember what I made for dinner last night let alone blog post ideas.

Also, the chair at our computer desk has become increasingly uncomfortable for me in the last few weeks.  The combination of the chair and the baby's position makes it nearly impossible to sit in the chair for longer than fifteen minutes at a time.   That's good for my kids, and bad for blogging.

I thought I'd be clever and use Rob's laptop in the evening after work, but I forgot that I have no lap left.  Not so clever after all, but oh well.

Add to all of this the fact that, for the past two days, my children have been acting like baboons on crack and you can see why real life trumps blogging.  I am crossing my fingers that they just have spring fever and have not, in fact, become deranged.

So here are some pictures instead! Yay!

{pretty}

My pretty Sally-girl is always smiling.  She's such a shiny little thing.

{real}

It's well past time for me to call and pre-register on labor and delivery.  Although I feel like I should just be able to call in and say, "You know all the info I gave you last year?  Yeah, copy that."

{funny}

Meet spaghetti's biggest fan.
{happy}

Banana bread muffins for breakfast make my kids very happy.

  1. Baboons on crack. Yup. Been there done that. Wait until they are teenage baboons on crack. Not cute. At all.

    Love that spaghetti girl. Would that be skillet spaghetti? Smart girl.

  2. My kids think I'm the best mom ever when I make them banana muffins and yogurt smoothies for breakfast. They don't know that I put flax seed in the muffins and spinach in the smoothies. Hahahahahaha - that's my evil mommy laugh!

  7. Send some muffins to Texas! And well, yeah, I have my own pack of baboons so I feel your pain. Ben loves spaghetti too. They're best friends that have never met.

  8. Stopping by from the Pretty Funny etc, Blog hop. I think the funniest part is the Blogs I read instead of cleaning the bathroom. That would be "real" on my blog.
