Here's Your Official Tissue Warning

I won't lie; I've been a little bummed about the world lately. I just can't stand the way we treat each other most days.

And then I see something like this, and I find that I have to swallow the lump in my throat. The lump that is my heart.

This was Disability Awareness Day at Fenway Park, and when the young man singing the national anthem got a little nervous, he got a little help from the crowd. All I'll say is when that crowd came in, I needed some quick access to a tissue.

Maybe all of us aren't in the same handbasket after all? . . .

  2. That's one thing I've got to say about the people in the Boston area. They may have it out for Yankee fans but are great at rallying behind those who are trying their hardest but need a little extra support.

Oh, I love the story but I'm so NOT clicking on that link. I don't think we have enough tissues in the house to handle a crying jag by pregnant ole me.

  5. First you had me smiling with Fred and Ginger, now you have crying! Dare i ask what's next?

That was a wonderful clip and i got chills when the crowd joined in. We do need a little reminder now and then that there are positive and uplifting experiences yet to be had on this little planet of ours :)
