Language Arts

Thanks to Janeen at Our Story, for this fun one. (I guess all that collidge book learnin' done me some good.) Question to my high school peeps: Do you remember those orange vocab books that everyone did in their free's when they were skipping "office aide" duty? (Wait, I think I was the only one skipping office aide -- everyone else was legit!)

    As a math and science person (or at least Mrs. Winters thought I couldn't handle languages) I HATED those vocabulary workshop books. Hey, didn't we just copy the answers from your book during our free periods??

    A+ for me, too. good 'ole catholic school! i'll never forget when sr. jonathan gave us the "memory" vocab quiz: a blank page- we were supposed to remember ALL the 30 words AND definitions or DIE. boy, did I die on that one!

    You know, ladies, I actually enjoyed those vocab books! It was one of the few things in school that I was actually good at ;)
