Name That Tune Redux. Redux.

Allrightythen, let's try this again.

I'm pressed for time this morning, so I am only listing fifteen songs and I'm going to cut right to the chase:

1.
Slow down, you crazy child,
You're so ambitious for a juvenile.

2.
Do you hear me, I talking to you,
Across the water, across the deep blue ocean

3.
If the wild bird could speak
She'd tell of places you had been
She's been in my dreams
And she knows all the ways of the wind

4.
This [partial title] I just can't handle it
this [partial title] I must get round to it
I ain't ready

5.
You fill up my senses
Like a night in the forest

6.
I see you, you see me
watch you blowin' the lines when you're making a scene
Oh girl, you've got to know
what my head overlooks
the senses will show to my heart

7.
Well I met a boy from Grassy Branch
Fine as he can be
I met him at the big barn dance
And he took a shine to me

8.
Uptown's got its hustlers
The Bowry's got its bums
Forty-second street's got [partial title]
He's a pool-shootin' son of a gun

9.
You and your museum of lovers
The precious collection you've housed in your covers
My simpleness threatened by my own admission

10.
Two o'clock this morning
If she should come a calling
I couldn't dream of turning her away

11.
Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast

12.
Our life together is so precious together
We have grown, we have grown
Although our love is still special
Let's take a chance and fly away somewhere alone

13.
I was ridin' shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car

14.
Just yesterday morning they let me know you were gone
Susanne the plans they made put an end to you

15.
Poor old Johny Ray sounded sad upon the radio he moved a million
hearts in mono
Our mothers cried and sang along who'd blame them
You're grown, so grown, now I must say more than ever

Okay, I am going to be pretty bad at this one. I know Number 5 is John Denver, no clue on the title and number 13 is Taylor Swift "Our Song", (she has recently become a very big hit in our house). And that is all. I am sure I actually know some others but am drawing a complete blank right now.
    Have a good day!

  2. #5 is John Denver, Annie's Song
#6 is (Hall & Oates?), Private Eyes
#12 is Starting Over by hmmm, either a former Beatle or Julian Lennon, can't remember and won't Google it ;)

I just wanted to add that I love number 15 from your original list. Girls with Guitars *wynonna* is a great blast the speakers in the Mustand kind of song!

    5. Annie's song by JOhn denver
    8. Don't mess around with Jim, by Jim Croce

The country songs are killing me.

I don't think I've got #15 right after reading mm's comments, but hey, batting .333 will get you in the Hall of fame...

    and the interview is today.
