A Day in the Life

If you've ever wondered what it's really like inside Fiver's brain, I think this video is as close as you'll ever get.  It is spot on.

And even though we've been living with SPD for over a decade now, it still staggers me when I consider how much effort it takes for him to function in the world.

The brain is an amazing creation, fearfully and wonderfully made.

  1. VERY interesting. I've told you about my Joshua. I think 18 years ago they did not know as much as they do and though he was not ever officially diagnosed with any sensory processing issues, I'm certain he had them and still does (he was really only tested for auditory). He would probably also have been placed somewhere on the autism spectrum. But now he's 21 and he and we just manage. :-) And he has a girl who loves him for who is is (for two and half years now) and she recently told me she will love him forever. Wow! She compliments him perfectly and he her. God is good.

Fiver is a lucky guy to have such great parents (and a great GOD!)
