I Think I Love Him

I was rambling half-heartedly through the grocery store, wearing a faded sweatshirt, hair in a straggly pony tail, throwing things from my list into the cart, and I paused to calculate if the savings on a certain brand were worth the expenditure.

An older gentleman was passing me in the aisle when he pointed to the multiple packages of diapers sitting in the cart.

"Looks like someone's got young ones at home."

I smiled. "Yes, I have two. Actually, I have four, but only two are still in diapers."

"What?! How can a young girl like you have four kids already?!"

Oh God bless you, sir.

  3. See Aim, this was God's way of answering your doubts yesterday. You do look young and fabulous...and so much more together than myself, even with the 4 kids!

    Love you.

  4. Sounds like a charmer! Any chance it was my grandfather you bumped into? He's been known to say the sweetest things to the women he encounters during the day.
